Yes, there's been a significant lack of attention to deviant on my part. I've kept busy, though. Facebook and my blog have kept the bulk of my attention with Twitter being looked in on at least once a day. The number of books in my series continues to rise and I have no intention of giving up on it whatsoever. So, if you want to know the latest news, simply check the blog.

As I've said in previous entries here, I've got several social profiles:
Here's the blog:
Here's my amazon page:…
I'm on Pinterest:…
and of course, Facebook:…

Of course, just because I have them, doesn't mean I pay a lot of attention to all of them.

Not a problem, I've been busy myself lately... sadly, not with the game, but with other problems.
I've also made a point of setting up my comic book in my new blog store. Not that I'm totally quitting trying to get a publisher for it, just that so many seem to like it as is that I'm giving them the chance to get it as is. I'm still hoping some artist will have the desired artistic middle ground to get it published, but as I just said: so many like it as is, that they now have the chance to get it as is.

The website is very well done, but why (for the links) didn't you use the <a href= code?

The links would be easyer to use that way.

(Sorry had to ask)

Faster to simply copy/paste the code. Glad to hear you like the site, though.

Saw your post on a topic on interactive games. Any good sites for self tutorial?

There's plenty of good sites, but it depends on the type of game you want and whether or not you're brave enough to tackle the latest version of the code to make them. I've been self-training for months in ActionScript 3.0, and in some cases, 2 is still easier to handle.
Personally, I've been reading books on the basics of Actionscript 3, some of which include games in their lessons. Usually, sites are geared toward types of games. For instance, if you look up a shooting game, you'll probably come up with sites that have them and sites that tell you how to make them. I'd say try a local library before digging around online.
This is where my games reside: [link] Although, I think the post you might've been looking at had to do with interactive comics, not games. In any case, and trust me on this one, Actionscript is a pain in the rear to debug.
I wouldn't say I'm qualified to teach everything (as I'm still teaching myself) but I do know the basics pretty well. I know how it is with schools that teach Flash - they don't like teaching the code because it's known to be a pain in the neck. I've had three classes in Flash and neither of the two teachers (the first one I took a second time for fun and practice) wanted to teach the code. The first repeatedly cursed it. Dunno how good I'd be at distance teaching, but I'd give it a shot if asked.

Oh okay thanks.

Sorry I can't be of more help, but it's either be specific on what you want to make or work with the basics. There's plenty of forums where you can post. They might have a better answer.

...What is your comic book about?
OceanGoddess13 Featured By Owner Jul 18, 2012  Hobbyist Digital Artist
Never been that great with summaries, but I've got the first few pages here: [link]
There's plenty of stuff on my site that talks a little about what goes on and such.
I'd really just like to start with building a creative team based on what I've got already online. Other than that, it's a nice superhero/magical girl/fantasy type storyline that has its humor and fun.
